Avid Consulting LLC is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Washington State, specializing in low voltage systems installation and integration for federal, state, and commercial clients.
Founded by a U.S. Air Force veteran who has been working in the low voltage field since 2010, Avid Consulting brings over 15 years of hands-on field experience and project management expertise to every engagement — from enterprise structured cabling programs to federal security system upgrades. We operate as both a prime contractor and a trusted subcontractor under larger primes.
Our work spans DoD facilities, federal healthcare, enterprise technology campuses, and high-rise commercial buildouts. Every engagement is managed with the same standard: on scope, on schedule, fully documented.
"To deliver mission-critical low voltage infrastructure with the precision, accountability, and integrity that government clients demand — and that our veteran heritage demands of us."
We deliver what we commit to — on scope, on schedule, and within budget. No surprises, no excuses.
Every project is treated as mission-critical. We bring the same discipline to a government facility as we do to a commercial buildout.
Founded and led by a U.S. Air Force veteran. The military standard of accountability and precision is embedded in how we operate.
We build long-term relationships with clients, primes, and subcontractors — not transactional engagements. Our repeat client rate reflects that.
After serving in the U.S. Air Force, began hands-on field work deploying point-of-sale (POS) systems nationwide for NCR — serving major chains including Burger King and Jack in the Box. Built a strong foundation in field logistics, systems installation, and large-scale multi-site deployment coordination.
Established MC Communications Systems in Washington State — formalizing years of field experience into an independent contracting operation focused on low voltage infrastructure and security systems installation.
Began performing drive-through communication system installations for HME — a leading provider of drive-through technology for quick-service restaurants. Deployments spanned national restaurant chains through 2016, adding specialized low voltage and communications systems expertise.
As the scope of work expanded into network infrastructure and enterprise IT systems, the company transitioned to IT Northwest — reflecting a broader service offering across structured cabling, AV integration, and low voltage systems.
Performed field installations for ProVigil — a national security monitoring company — where a lasting passion for security systems, access control, and surveillance infrastructure took root. ProVigil work continued through 2017.
Executed structured cabling and low voltage installations for Walmart across national retail locations in 2018 and 2019 — large-scale, multi-site field work requiring precise coordination and consistent execution across diverse facility types.
Began multi-year program with Kaiser Permanente Washington — a $250M+ enterprise network infrastructure engagement spanning four years (2018–2022) across dozens of facilities statewide.
Stepped into a full project management role during the COVID-19 period — overseeing multi-site programs, subcontractor coordination, and client delivery from the PM seat. Combined 10 years of field experience with formal program oversight responsibilities.
Completed Bosch CCTV upgrade at Naval Hospital Bremerton under a U.S. Navy / DHA subcontract — expanding the firm's footprint in federal healthcare and DoD security systems.
Served as Program Manager on a $30M multi-year enterprise security program for Meta in Redmond, WA — managed under Convergint Technologies. Oversaw deployment of access control and IP surveillance systems across multiple buildings including high-security laboratory and corporate campus environments. Engaged for one year before the program concluded.
Relaunched as Avid Consulting LLC — a SAM-registered, SDVOSB-certified small business positioned to pursue federal, state, and commercial contracts as a prime contractor and teaming partner.
Chief Executive Officer
U.S. Air Force Veteran
The founder of Avid Consulting is a U.S. Air Force veteran who has been working in the field since 2010. His career started with nationwide POS system deployments for NCR (2010–2012), serving major chains including Burger King and Jack in the Box — building a strong foundation in large-scale multi-site field work. From 2012 to 2016 he performed drive-through communication system installations for HME across national restaurant chains. He went on to perform field installations for ProVigil (2016–2017) and Walmart (2018–2019) — with the ProVigil engagement igniting a deep passion for security systems that remains central to the firm's identity today. After building over a decade of field expertise, he transitioned into project management in 2020, overseeing multi-site programs across healthcare, federal, and commercial sectors. The company has operated under three names since 2012 — MC Communications Systems, IT Northwest, and now Avid Consulting — each evolution reflecting expanded capabilities and a sharpened focus on government contracting.
